Phoenix is a small town with big ambitions and a lot of economic opportunity. Phoenix is a rural community between Medford and Ashland with many typical urban amenities you would find in a larger city.  The City of Phoenix has pursued a forward thinking and innovative approach to economic development over the past several years with an increased push for economic development following the 2020 Almeda Fire.   The cultural landscape of Phoenix and its economy has been forever changed by fire, but the established long-range and strategic planning set forth by the city provides hope for future. Recognizing all the momentous investments that are catalyzing change in its economy, the City of Phoenix is constantly reviewing its economic development strategy and the land use documents and policies that support that strategy in order to create a new Economic Development Strategy.
