Public Infrastructure
The Public Works Department is responsible for all street maintenance, park maintenance and storm water system maintenance. Additionally Public Works has responsibilities for operations and maintenance of the Water System in Phoenix.
Public Works Department Mission Statement
To provide and maintain the infrastructure necessary for the basic needs of the people of Phoenix. This includes a safe and reliable transportation system, a healthy and plentiful water supply, a well functioning storm drainage system and well maintained recreational facilities.
