City Recorder

The City Recorder serves as the clerk to the City Council, the public records manager, and City's Elections Official. The City Recorder oversees the keeping of official records and documentation of official acts of the City of Phoenix. The City Recorder attends all City Council meetings, prepares, and retains meeting minutes, administers oaths of office, oversees public records requests, and sets retention policies and procedures.

The City Recorder serves as the city elections official, providing election information to assist candidates as they run for office, providing election information to citizens.  The Jackson County Elections Office conducts all elections county-wide.  For more information on local elections, please visit their website.
