The registered owner must first come to the police department to get a vehicle release form. Three things are required to obtain the release. First, you must have someone with a valid driver's license. Second, you must have current proof of insurance on the vehicle. Finally, the vehicle must have a current registration. Once all of this paperwork is verified and you pay the $125.00 release fee, you will be given a release form and you will be able to pick up your vehicle from the tow company. (Tow company fees are additional to our fees, paid to the tow company when you pick up the vehicle.)
