Heart of Phoenix Community & Economic Development Fair

The City of Phoenix is excited to announce the inaugural Community & Economic Development Fair on Wednesday, February 19, 2025, at the at the Phoenix Civic Center, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. This event is designed to help showcase local businesses and provide an opportunity for our community to connect with our local agency partners in a relaxed social setting.

The Fair is open to Phoenix business owners at no cost, making it an accessible and valuable event for the entire business community. This event is designed to support local businesses and entrepreneurs by providing a dynamic platform to build networks, grow brands, and explore new business opportunities in the community.

In addition to showcasing our local businesses, the Fair will host a variety of local government agencies and Phoenix non-profit organizations where the community can learn about upcoming local agency projects and get information on how to get plugged in with volunteer opportunities.

Q. Can I sell products and services at this event?
A. Marketing and networking with all attendees are encouraged; direct sales and service at this event is not.

Q. Do I need to sign up?
A. Walk-ins are welcome, however we ask that you reach out (contact info above) so that we can ensure we have enough food and drink, and reserve a table if you’d like one.

Q. What will the City provide?
A. The City will provide the space, chairs, tables, snacks and refreshments, wifi and several power outlets will be available. Restrooms also available.

Q. How can I help?
A. Volunteers would be greatly appreciated to help folks with setup, placing out food and beverages, helping with wifi connections, directions and so on.

Q. What can I bring?
A. Small-medium sized exhibits, posters and advertisements, portable displays like laptops or tablets are welcome; generally things that are relatively easy to setup, and can fit on/next to a table with ease. This is a short-duration event, and the space is shared so please — nothing too large/extravagant.
